Welcome to Teesside Positive Action Ltd.
We are Middlesbrough based HIV support charity covering the whole of Teesside (Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool, Redcar & Cleveland) and beyond. Originally set up as Cleveland AIDS Support in 1989, it was founded order to provide emotional and practical support to people affected by HIV/AIDS.
Our Services:
The services provided by TPA have evolved over the years to reflect changes to HIV care provision and a wide range of community services are now available. These include (but are not limited to):

Since July 2006, TPA are also now able to provide HIV testing from our premises in Baker Street Middlesbrough. In December 2006 we also helped and funded MESMAC Northeast, a gay and bisexual men's agency, to pilot their own testing programme.
We can test anyone over the age of 16 with a simple finger jab test that will yield a result in less than an hour. We operate a drop in clinic on Mondays between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. (not including bank holidays) and an appointment service - simply call the office or fill in an online booking form and we will try to arrange an appointment that suits your schedule.

Will be treated in the strictest confidence. If we don't know the answer to a question or help you with a problem, we will endeavour to find out or refer you to an appropriate agency that can help you.
